Would you like to learn what mechanical pieces of music are and how to make them yourself? And would you like to find out what perforated tapes and music boxes are all about? Then this workshop is just the thing for you.
Here, participants become composers themselves. Together with musicians Joseph Kudirka and Eleni Poulou, they will compose pieces for music boxes with perforated tapes. They will create their own music, produce the required music tape and play a concert together in the exhibition ‘Musica di strada – Italians in Prenzlauer Berg’.
The event will be held in German and English. It is suitable for adults as well as for children and young people with accompaniment.
