As part of the theme day on children’s rights at BERLIN GLOBAL’s WELTSTUDIO, families with young children and individuals aged 9 and over are invited to discover the basics of children’s book illustration with artist Katrin Merle.

From brainstorming and character design to the creation of entire scenes: After an introduction to the basics of illustration, participants can creatively bring fantasy characters to life.

Both beginners and advanced illustrators will gain valuable insights and practical tips into the world of illustration.

 The workshop is held in German. Maximum of 12 people.

About the artist

Berlin-based illustrator Katrin Merle has been working as a freelance illustrator since 1995. She also offers drawing courses and workshops. www.katrinmerle.de
