On vacation

For years, Leonore Schwarzer and her family would often visit their retreat in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. The photographs are testimony to the slowing pace. They show places devoid of people, in stark contrast to crowded and noisy Berlin. The photographer always has an eye for detail. On the one hand, her motifs emanate calmness, yet, on the other hand, they also make for rather bizarre scenes.
