Part 6
When the Wall fell on 9th November 1989, the fate of the wall inside Berlin and along the inner-German border was sealed. Between November 1989 and June 1990, Schwarzer drove along the former “death strip” almost every weekend and documented the dismantling of the border fortifications in a very personal way. These are images that she found both appealing and touching.
